I don't know about you but I find that sometimes the pastel trend can be a bit daunting. Most trends which make their way into high-street stores I find are relatively easy to wear in some way or another. But with this one it's different. Whether it's because I'm living in Wales and the weather we get dictates the colour clothes I wear (as in dark autumnal colours and black) or it's the risk of walking around like a giant marshmallow or a drumstick lollipop, I have found myself avoiding the pastel trend like the plague. I thought by the time the A/W collections came into store last year it would be the last I saw of pastel clothing. But no. It's come back again and I feel that this time I really should give it a go seeing as it's going to be sticking around longer than I thought.
I've been browsing Pinterest for some pastel outfit inspiration and I came across some amazing 60's fashion photography featuring pastel garments. Although I don't think the head-to-toe pastel look is for me, unlike blogger Charlotte Fisher from Things I do, think and buy who manages to pull it off so well every time.
So instead here are some images which are tempting me to delve into the trend by wearing one statement pastel garment.

I think it's safe to say that my bank is going to hate me after looking at all these fabulous outfits!

Cape - Charity shop
Fur collar - Monki
Trousers - Primark
Jumper - Next
Shoes - Dolcis via Ebay

A couple of weeks ago I saw these shoes in T.K.Maxx in every size but mine :( they had them in black in my size but they did nothing for me when I could see a pair in metallic purple.  It was one of those 'I need these shoes' moments and so when I got home straight away I began trawling through the internet to find them. I didn't help myself by not remembering what brand they were but I didnt stop and eventually to my delight I found a pair on ebay which were cheaper than in T.K.Maxx. Yay!
Although I love them they aren't the most comfy shoes I've ever bought but hopefully I'll break them in soon.
Dolcis also have some really nice shoes online at the moment. I'm totally lusting over these Larimar block heel in lilac/white but sadly my size is out of stock. Anyway, I NEED to stop buying shoes...

Top - Topshop
Skirt - Topshop
Shoes - New Look
Jacket - River Island

Hey everyone!

I'm feeling pretty orange today, as you can tell. I got this neon ensemble from Topshop last season have havne't got that much wear out of it yet. It's reasonably easy to just throw on and wear with no real effort, but it clings to all my lumps and bumps which can be a bit awkward if I'm having a fat day. Buuuuuut it's bright and summery so I was feeling the neon today.

These shoes are super comfy, and make anything look a bit punk rock. Although they can prove challenging to walk in sometimes!

Coat - ASOS
Dress - Primark
Shoes - River Island
Necklace - Ebay
Sunglasses - H&M

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Not exactly sunglasses weather today, but not exactly a blogging face either. So excuse the face. Oh and the hair too! This dress is pretty old, I got it from Primark around the same time as the design was in Topshop. I was over the moon when I found a copy for a third of the price! (Who wouldn't be!?) It's easy to wear to lounge around in as it's super lightweight and comfortable. If only we had the weather to wear it without a coat.

I also love these shoes, well I did until I realised they make me look like I have cankles!

So us girls here at Atlast have had the busiest and most stressful of weeks! It was the hand in of one of our last modules of our second year on Friday so we were frantically doing our work so that we could submit in time. I think it's safe to say that Kayleigh did the last minute cram in true all-nighter style the most so hi-5 to her! (I personally can't do that as I would literally have an actual breakdown)

ANYWAY, that is all over now.. pheeeeeeeeew! So much relief. We can now do things like paint our nails or watch E4 without feeling bad for not doing work. Me and Molly were on that as soon as we could. Now I have pretty lilac nails unlike the past two weeks of having to look at my hideously chipped sparkly nails.

We haven't blogged in a while because of this but I'm sure we will have some outfit posts up soon! But in the meantime here are some images of what I've been up to this weekend. Enjoy.

(This was me when me and Kayleigh got heckled at across the street by weird men)

Im very sad to say that everything I am wearing here is Topshop other than my Vivienne Westwood necklace and Primark tights.

Today was the first time I have worn this dress which I got for Christmas from my parents. I hadn't worn it as I wasn't really sure if it suited me but now i have actually worn it I really like it as it's super easy to wear and pair with things. I think these are still in store in different colours but majorly reduced so y'all should buy one!!

Oh and i've just realised that my scarf isn't Topshop but it's actually M&Co...!! best find ever.
(so really I'm not selling Topshop too much)
